Description
Was focusing more on a dark setting this time then the horse. Story
The weather is getting colder and colder. The sky is starting to turn dark and the mountains are leaving less shadows by the day. The horses are getting their blankets
again and are getting a little more hay. But the cold can’t stop us. The horses still need to release their energy.
It was around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The sky was turning dark, but the rain hasn’t started yet. Caithlyn was still training with Raven. Raven was getting old enough
to start getting a saddle, but her behavior was saying she wasn’t quite ready for it yet. So today Caith was just lunging Raven. It’s important that Raven first would
learn to listen before the saddle got on her back. Raven was a little playful. She made a few funny jumps and if she didn’t wanted to listen she came walking towards
Caith to search for food. Caithlyn had a few basic horse treats in her pocket, but that was not something Raven liked.
After a 30 minutes of not listening Caith started to lose her patience. She bounded Raven to the side of the arena and quickly got a glass of water. Raven was just
enjoying the view and thought the training was finally done. After Caithyn got her drink she asked Dante for some help. Dante had some history of training difficult horses.
Dante went with her to the arena. Raven saw them coming and made some room for Caithlyn to untie her and bring her back to the stable. Raven got pretty annoyed
when she noticed she still had to work.
“I don’t think you need to train her anymore today” said Dante. “Raven looks pretty agitated for some reason. It’s probably for the best to bring her back to the stable and
try again tomorrow”
Caithlyn didn’t like the fact that Raven didn’t want to cooperate with her. It’s not that hard to listen. Caith took Raven back to the stable and gave her 1 treat. “If you work
better next time you will get better and more treats” said Caith. Raven didn’t seem to care much and just ate the treats she was given. She was just happy she could finally
eat in her warm, cozy stable. After the treats she turned around drank some water before falling asleep in the stable and dreaming of a world filled with potato chips.
“Sweet dreams Raven” said Caith.
